Fluxus is owned and operated by Chad Robertson. Chad is well-known in the industry, having spent 20 years working in home automation, controls, and audio/video in the Northeast. He began his career as a college-aged AV geek selling home theater at Tweeter. He then spent 13 years on the distribution (AVAD) and rep sides of the business. Seeing the pace of change accelerating in the field and wanting to be plugged-in directly at the manufacture level - to better understand training, support, and product development - he transitioned to the vendor side, working for Savant and Legrand. Throughout these experiences, Chad has acquired widespread industry knowledge and expertise, but above all has seen the importance of empowering his customers to adapt and change. His business philosophy is based on three core principles: lead with a consultative selling model, focus on a cohesive group of brands, and be a true extension of the vendor, knowing the product lines just as well as in-house employees.
